so i'm thankful for these verses bc i have been totally beat down by my pride the past two days!!!!
my thursday morning bible study is looking at humility and how a humble heart responds to correction, rebuke, criticism or instruction and i have been shot down... :P
but i'm thankful for your example! you called us on saturday morning to thank us for speaking truth to you and shared that God had led you to repentance!!! :)
oh how i want to repsond like that anna!! love you! and i'm praying for you as i pray for myself...that God would continue to grant us the grace to seek him with humility, that he would be merciful to us, that he would make us more sensitive to the manifestations of pride in our life, and reveal his awesome greatness in such a way that we will bow before him always!!! and flee our self-serving sin!
